Join us to learn about the program and hear winning letters.

Has a book made you laugh, brought you to tears or changed your life? Write a letter to the author. All 4th-12th graders are invited to participate in Letters About Literature Texas! Read a book or poem and write a letter. Join us for a discussion on the program, tips for participation and meet some of our 2020 and 2021 winners.

The #TXBookChat series offers brief discussions and programs with authors, librarians, and literary professionals. These informal “coffee chats” last about 30 minutes and offer a quick look into different aspects of the state’s literary world. The #TXBookChat series seeks to bring together diverse voices and perspectives.
