About

The Texas Talking Book Program (TBP) is a division of the Texas State Library and Archives Commission.

We provide free library service to Texans of all ages who are unable to read standard print material due to visual, physical, or reading disabilities – whether permanent or temporary.

About Our Blog

Do you want to know what staff at the Talking Book Program have read and enjoyed recently? Do you think to yourself, “I really like Louis L’Amour, but I don’t know who to read next”? Do you wonder, “What’s new on the shelf at the Talking Book Program? Is the Public Awareness Coordinator going to be in my neighborhood soon? What sort of information can I get from the Disability Reference Center?” Follow our blog for answers to all of these questions, and more.

We look forward to sharing information about the Talking Book Program with you and to hearing back from you either in the comments section below or e-mail us at tbpinfo@tsl.texas.gov.
