New Youth Services Consultant
My name is Katelyn Patterson, and I am so excited to be joining TSLAC as the Youth Services Consultant. I have been working as a youth services librarian in public libraries for over a decade. I already know many of you from my time as the Youth Services Consultant with the Central Texas Library System. I look forward to reconnecting with you, learning from you, and working to support you in serving youth and caregivers. You can always email me at kpatterson@tsl.texas.gov, call me at 512-463-5433, book time to meet with me using this link, or provide general feedback on this form.
Texas Public Library Youth Services Listening Sessions
To that end, to kick start my time in this role I will be hosting a series of Listening Sessions for library staff serving youth. I will quickly share some announcements but want most of the time to be hearing from you! Please come prepared to brag on your accomplishments and workshop how to handle the challenges. These sessions will not be recorded. Please register at the links below.

Thursday, September 26th, 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. central
Tuesday, October 1st, 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. central
Once registered, please open your confirmation email to find a survey that will help inform me of your needs and how we should structure our time in the Listening Sessions.
