
Join us for a free in-person workshop near you! TSLAC is bringing Advanced De-escalation Skills sessions to 12 locations across Texas. Led in-person by experienced clinical educator and consultant Marty Reinsel, this hands-on workshop builds on our 2025 series to help public-facing staff manage challenging interactions with confidence and care.
- Half-day session: 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (breakfast provided)
- Learn practical, trauma-informed strategies for navigating complex interactions and emotional escalation using real-world library scenarios.
- Deepen your de-escalation expertise, connect with regional peers, and expand your toolkit for managing challenging interactions with confidence and care. (earn 3 CE credits)

This advanced session will focus on navigating complex interactions, managing intense emotional escalation, and applying trauma-informed strategies to real-world library scenarios. Participants are highly encouraged to have completed the introductory session before attending.
