Due to Governor Greg Abbott’s March 13, 2020 proclamation of a state of disaster affecting all counties in Texas due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the Governor’s March 16, 2020 suspension of certain provisions of the Texas Open Meetings Act, the August 3, 2020 meeting of the Texas State Library and Archives Commission will be held by video webinar, as authorized under Texas Government Code §551.127.

For public participants, please use the "Raise Hand" feature to indicate that wish to speak during the Public Comment portion of the meeting.  You may also email tlash@tsl.texas.gov in advance of the meeting if you would like to provide public comment. When the Commission reaches the public comment item, the Chairperson will recognize you by name and give you an opportunity to speak. All public comments will be limited to 5 minutes.

The Library and Archives Commission may deliberate on and/or take action on any of the following agenda items. The commission may go into executive session on any agenda item listed below, as authorized by the Open Meetings Act, Texas Gov't Code, Chapter 551.

 Review and approval of proposed collection policy for TexQuest.

 Review and approval of proposed collection policy for E-Read Texas.

Approval of annual FY 2021 competitive grant awards and amendments:

 d. Regional Integrated Library System Cooperative Grant

 Approval of appointment to the Library Systems Act Advisory Board.

 Approval of appointments to the TexShare Advisory Board.

 Authorization to post in the Texas Register proposed amendments to 13 TAC 2.116, Uniform Grant Management Standards and 2.119, Multiple Applications, and new rule 2.120, Applicant Eligibility.

  Authorization to post in the Texas Register the adoption of amendments to 13 TAC 7.1 and 7.7 and new 13 TAC 7.10, relating to procedure and standards for transferring title to local historical resources to depositories.
 
  21.  
 Authorization to post in the Texas Register the adoption of amendments to 13 TAC 6.1, 6.5, and 6.8 and 13 TAC 7.125(a)(10), Schedule EL.
