Shows rivers, lakes, mountainous areas, cities, towns, forts, canals, railroads, Indian tribes, roads, and routes and trails, including Fremont's routes, the Oregon Route, the
Santa Fe Trail, and the Old San Antonio Road. There are engravings of various ships at sea, and of native flora and fauna throughout the continent.
