Note: Compiled from Charts in the Office of the United States Engineer in charge of the improvements and lithographed for the Sabine Pass Times.
Map outlines the town of Sabine Pass and shows the Eastern Texas and Sabine Pass Railroad route, soundings, reefs, jetties (with proposed extensions), and a light house. Inset: "Longitudinal Section of West Jetty." Note: "Soundings are given to the nearest foot and all depths greater than 18 ft. are enclosed in dotted curve." Photostat.
