Covers parts of New Mexico and the Indian Territory in addition to Texas. Shows rivers, mountainous areas, counties, cities, towns, roads, routes and trails, operating and proposed railroads, post offices, and Indian tribes, agencies, and ruins. There are notes on topographic features. Insets: 1) Plan of Galveston Bay, 2) Plan of Sabine Lake, giving soundings. This is a later edition of map 39. Photostat.
