Translation of title: (Geographical Map of the Region of Florida, Adjacent Lands and interior of North America, and the course in idom (in insular America) of the navigatable Mississippi and said colonies placed) Covers the areas known as Louisiana; New Mexico; Mexico or New Spain; Canada or New France; the English colonies of Virginia, Carolina, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and New England; the northern tip of South America; the West Indies; the Bahamas; the Antilles; Cuba; Puerto Rico; Santa Domingo; Jamaica, and other Caribbean islands. The provinces of New Spain are outlined. Texas is located in the province of Louisiana, which extends from the Atlantic Coast of Florida to the Rio Grande, and up to the Ohio River. The land above this is labeled Canada or New France. Shows rivers, lakes, mountainous areas, towns and settlements, forts, missions, mines (in Mexico), Indian tribes, and ship routes in the West Indies. The map is decorated with engravings of Indians, explorers, and war galleons. Insets: 1) Porto Belo (Panama), 2) Havana, 3) Cartagena de Indies (Columbia), 4) Vera Cruz. This map is in Latin.
