Map also covers parts of New Mexico, the Indian Territory, Arkansas, and Louisiana, in addition to Texas. Shows rivers, mountainous areas, counties, territories, cities, towns, forts, camps, roads, and railroads--operating and proposed. Indian tribes and villages are shown in the Indian Territory, as well as land ceded to the United States by various Indian tribes. Inset: Plan of Galveston and vicinity.
