Shows rivers, creeks, mountainous areas, counties, cities, towns, forts, camps, railroads, routes and trails--including the Overland Mail Route and Indian trails, military expeditions-- giving dates and leaders, roads, copper and silver mines, sites of Indian battles, and Indian tribes. Indian agencies are shown in the Indian Territory. The surveying dates for boundaries in Texas and the Indian Territory are also shown. Inset: [West Texas].
