Description:
Plat shows blocks, streets, and roads. A key to public buildings, churches, and military quarters is given. The Alamo is shown. The map was used by William Ballaert, an English traveler in Texas who was in San Antonio in 1843 and 1844, and contains many of his notations. The original map is in the Newberry Library, Chicago. This is a full-size reproduction. 5/2/84
