(Title translation) Trip taken in the year 1690 by Governor Alonso de Leon from Coahuila to Carolina, an inhabited Province of Texas and other nations to the northeast of New Spain
Map of De Leon's route. Rivers crossed are labeled and points stopped at are shown. A chart indicates the time, date, and distance from one point to another. Inset: Descripcion exacte del Lago de S. Bernado y del de Todos Santos que Nueuamente fe hallo' efe ano de 1690. (An exact Description of lakes San Bernardo and Todos Santos which have been newly made in the year 1690). Inset shows routes travelled on the water and the type of vessel used. A French settlement is shown. This map is in Spanish. Reproduction.
