Covers part of the United States, extending as far west as Texas, denoting rivers, lakes, mountainous areas, a few major roads, and forts. Illustrations: 1) Buffalo Hunt, 2) Penn's Treaty with the Indians, 3) Washington's Monument, 4) Benjamin Franklin, 5) George Washington, 6) [a national emblem bearing the inscription "excelsior"], and 7) [United States shield].
