[Title translation:] Plan of the Presidio de Nuestra Senora de Pilar de los Adais on the frontier of Texas, New Kingdom of the Phillapines, whose fortification was drawn out and commanded to
be executed by the Marques de San Miguel de Aguayo, on November 1, 1721
Plan of the presidio, which is located in east Texas, near the Louisiana border. The location of artillery within the presidio is shown. This map is in Spanish.
This is a color photograph (and internegative) in the Archives' Photograph Collection, no. 1983/18-10. A color slide is also available, no. 1983/161-10. The original map is in the Archivo General de Indias, Sevilla, Espana, Mapas y Planos, Mexico, no. 113. Size of the original map is 31 cm x 43 cm. Map 2766 is another plan of this presidio, showing flora and fauna in the vicinity of the presidio. A large tracing of this map is map 70e.
