[Title translation:] Plan of the Presidio Nuestra Senora de Loreto, in the Bay of the Spiritu Santo of the Province of Texas, New Phillapines, which was marked out and canals were told to be dug for all the fortification by the Marques de San Miguel de Aguayo... Plan of the presidio, which is located near the San Gabriel River and Matagorda Bay. Also shown is the Nuestra Senora del Espiritu Santo de Zuniga mission, a bridge over the San Gabriel River, and flora and fauna in the vicinity. This map is in Spanish. This is a color photograph (and internegative) in the Archives' Photograph Collection, no. 1983/18-13. A color slide is also available, no. 1983/161-13. The original map is in the Archivo General de Indias, Sevilla, Espana, Mapas y Planos, Mexico, no. 116. Size of the original is 31 cm x 43 cm. Map 2767 is another plan of this presidio, not showing the flora and fauna. A large tracing of this map (minus flora and fauna) is map 70f. 8/23/83 Revised 11/3/97
