Map depicts the route of Vial & Fragoso from Natchitoches in 1788, showing rivers, settlements, ranches, and Indian villages crossed along the route. The map is in Spanish.
This is a color photograph (and internegative) in the Archives' Photograph Collection, no. 1983/18-27. A color slide is also available, no. 1983/161-27. The original map is in the Archivo General de Indias, Sevilla, Espana, Mapas y Planos, Mexico, no. 413. A copy of this map can be found in Hebert E.
