[Title translation:] Ideal Map of the surrounding lands of the Presidio of Nuestra Senora de las Caldas de Guaxaquilla in which are manifest the entrances normally made by the Barbos Indians... Shows rivers, mountainous areas, terrain, and routes and trails in the vicinity of the presidio. Map covers an undetermined area of northern Mexico. This is a color photograph (and internegative) in the Archives' Photograph Collection, no. 1983/18-49. A color slide is also available, no. 1983/161-49. The original map is in the Archivo General de Indias, Sevilla, Espana, Mapas y Planos, Mexico, no. 626 ter. Two other copies of this map are photographs 1983/18- 47-48 and slides 1983/161-47-48. 9/21/83 Revised 11/3/97
