Shows the Tennessee River, hilly areas, a railroad, and Union redoubts. This map accompanies the Inspection Report of Brigadier General Z.B. Tower, U.S. Army, April 4, 1865. This map and report are part of the Atlas to Accompany the Official Records of the Union and Confederate Armies, compiled by Captain Calvin D. Cowles, Government Printing Office, Washington, 1891-1895, plate CXI. Title page, table of contents, and index to maps in the atlas are filed under map #3209.
