Shows rivers, lakes, creeks, bays, islands, streets, roads, highways (giving mileage between points), bridges, outlying buildings, post offices, hospitals, schools, churches, other public and private buildings, parks and other recreational facilities, a military reservation and airfield, airline routes, ship channel routes, quarantine stations, cemeteries, railroads, and airports. Insets: Glen Cove, Clear Lake Shores, League City, Clifton by the Sea, Dickinson, Arcadia, Algoa, Lamarque, Alta Loma, Hitchcock, Kemah, High Island, Gilchrist, San Leon, Port Bolivar, Texas City, Galveston.
