Shows bays, bayous, rivers, lakes, creeks, streams, islands, cities, towns; outlying buildings--including schools, churches, and post offices; roads, highways (giving mileage between points), bridges, railroads, cemeteries, oil and gas fields, oil or gas wells, utility lines, petroleum pipelines, canals, ship channel routes, the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway, urban compacts, and airfields. Insets: Midfield, Blessing, Matagorda, inset 1 - [settlement on Matagorda Peninsula], inset 3 - [settlement south of Matagorda], Pledger, Van Vleck, Markham, Wadsworth, inset 2 - [settlement north of Bay City].
