Description:
Shows bays, rivers, creeks, lakes, mountainous areas, islands, canyons, counties, cities, towns, highways, roads, mileage between points, airports, state parks, battlegrounds, missions, ruins of forts, military bases, the Alabama-Coushatta Indian Reservation, and the Intracoastal Canal. A key to cities and towns is also given. Insets of the following cities are given, showing major routes in and out of the city, and other features such as airports, military bases, colleges, and public buildings: Amarillo, Wichita Falls, Waco, El Paso, Austin, San Antonio, Fort Worth, Dallas, Houston, Galveston, Beaumont, Fort Worth-Dallas area, Houston-Galveston area. The reverse side contains pictures of people and places from around the state. Earlier editions are 6183-6195, later editions are 6197-6242.
