Description:
Shows bays, rivers, creeks, lakes, mountainous areas, islands, canyons, counties, cities, towns, highways, roads, mileage between points, airports, state and national parks and forests, battlegrounds, missions, ruins of forts, military bases, the Alabama-Coushatta Indian Reservation, tourist information offices, the Intracoastal Canal, and oil and gas fields. A key to cities and towns is given, and general information about the state is given on the reverse side. Insets of the following cities are given, showing major routes in and out of the city, and other features such as airports, military bases, colleges, and public buildings: Amarillo, Wichita Falls, Waco, El Paso, Austin, San Antonio, Fort Worth, Dallas, Houston, Galveston, Beaumont, Fort Worth-Dallas area, Houston-Galveston area. The reverse side contains pictures of people and places from around the state. Earlier editions are 6183-6197, later editions are 6199-6242. 5/27/86
