Description:
Shows bays, rivers, creeks, lakes, mountainous areas, islands, canyons, counties, cities, towns, highways, roads, mileage between points, state and national parks and forests, wildlife refuges, tourist information offices, Texas travel trails, the Alabama-Coushatta Indian Reservation, and roadside parks. A list of state parks, a mileage chart of major cities, a key to counties, cities, and towns, and general information about the map is also given. The reverse side contains insets of the following cities, showing major routes in and out of the city, and other features such as airports, military bases, colleges, and public buildings: Fort Worth-Dallas area, El Paso, Abilene, Wichita Falls, San Antonio, Austin, Waco, Amarillo, Lubbock, Lower Rio Grande Valley area, Corpus Christi, Houston-Galveston-Texas City area, Tyler-Longview area, Beaumont-Port Arthur-Orange area. Earlier editions are 6183-6233, later editions are 6235-6242.
