Description:
Map of Texas during the Texas Revolution. Shows bays, rivers, creeks, mountainous and wooded areas, colonies, land grants, presidios, missions, forts, camps, silver mines, ranches, farms, ruins of missions, routes and trails--including the Old San Antonio Road, battlegrounds, and Indian tribes and villages. The several capitals of the Republic are noted and modern cities have been added. A key, with notes, to the battles of the Texas Revolution is given. Inset: [Texas in 1836], shows all the territory claimed by Texas. Scales: 1 3/8 inches = 20 miles or 7 1/2 leagues Two copies. Long. 93 deg. - 101 deg. 6/30/86
