Shows rivers, states, cities, towns, routes and trails--including mail, military, cattle, and stagecoach routes, forts, camps, telegraph lines, Indians, and railroads. Dates of establishment or operation for most of these features are given. Map contains text on most of these features--especially brief histories of noted mail and stagecoach routes, and cattle trails. A chronology of important historical events is given along with miscellaneous historical data.
