Description:
Atlas. Consists of maps by Thomas Jeffreys and others, generally showing continents, bodies of water, islands, colonies, provinces and other territories, roads, mountains and other topographic features, cities, towns, forts, Indian tribes and villages, and routes of explorers expeditions. Notes and comments regarding features on the maps are also present. A descriptive index to the maps follows the title page. Several plates contain two separate maps. A list of maps is attached. This atlas is too large to photocopy. 9/15/87
