Description:
Covers an area between the San Antonio and Colorado Rivers, south to Carlos Ferry in Victoria County, north through De Witt County. Counties covered are De Witt, Victoria, Goliad. Shows rivers, lakes, creeks, topographic features, counties, cities, towns, outlying buildings--including houses (giving owners names), plots of land, roads, and routes and trails. Notes regarding topograpic features and water crossings are given. Maps 7089 & 7090 cover plots I & II--maps of other areas between these rivers. This map is reproduced from the holdings of the National Archives, Record Group 77, Civil Works Map File, Z49-3. 9 sheets, each 44 cm x 44 cm. 9/23/88
