Description:
Land coverage extends north and south of the Salt Fork of the Brazos River, covering parts of Crosby, Dickens, Garza, and Kent counties. Land shown is only that owned by the New York and Texas Land Co., including some granted to the International and Great Northern Railroad. Also shown are rivers and creeks, a road, and routes of Captain Ranald Mackenzie. The original map is on file in the General Land Office. This map was part of an exhibit in a Supreme Court case, no. A-5871. Other maps from this exhibit are maps 7593-7595. 9/28/92
