Description:
Covers the southern half of Provence-Alpes-Cote d'azur region in southeastern France and Monaco. Three inset maps cover the coast between Nice and Menton; the Iles d'Hyeres; and the department of Alpes-Maritimes (north of Nice). Shows cities, towns, churches, lighthouses, highways, railroads, rivers, creeks, lakes, bays, mountains, forests, and departmental and national boundaries. Tracing paper overlay annotated in red and black pen with radius lines showing distances covered by marching and motor transport over certain periods of time starting at St. Raphael. Military preference in certain cities annotated in black pen. 1/18/01 (HR)
