Description:
Covers an area southeast of Rome as far as Cisterna di Littoria. Shows cities, towns, larger buildings, churches, cemeteries, industrial works, airfields, highways, railroads, trails, bridges, canals, creeks, rivers, lakes, mines, wells, aqueducts, vegetation, mountains, contour lines, and boundary lines. Map is made from six maps cut and taped together. Annotated in black ink showing military movements and placements. Map title written in black ink "301600B May 1944," "Official Sladen G-3" and "Walker Maj Gen." Maps are War Office maps although publication information was cut away. Maps 7943, 7944, 7950, 7952, 7959 and 7960 are Operations Maps. 2/12/01 (HR)
