Texas Pacific Train Robbery Note, c. 1878

This note informs Governor Richard Hubbard (served December 1876-January 1879) of the robbery of a Texas & Pacific train. This is almost certainly the robbery that was perpetrated on April 4, 1878 by the famous outlaw Sam Bass and his gang.
