Resolution of A.C. Tompkins, 1895

In 1895, Representative A.C. Tompkins of Hempstead (Waller County) introduced a resolution in the Texas legislature to amend the Texas constitution to allow women to vote. The resolution was referred to committee, where it died without further action.
