The Movement Comes of Age

Falls County Prohibition Committee, July 5, 1915

The prohibition movement gained steam in the early 20th century. The nationwide success of the Anti-Saloon League had brought new energy and organizing skill to the movement, and inspired numerous local efforts to create dry counties, as shown by this 1915 Falls County committee.
