During his California tour for the Texas Centennial, Goveror Allred attended a glamorous "Texas" dinner with dancer Ginger Rogers and singer John Boles. Boles was a Texan and Rogers had grown up in Fort Worth. [Prints and Photographs, #1/163-1]
