EBSCO Library Resources Onsite Training for TexShare

Classes run October 3 - November 9, 2017

This two-part training covers LearningExpress Library, DIY Resources for Public Library Patrons, and the Explora graphical interface. Shana Ashwood, EBSCO’s lead trainer for LearningExpress, will help you get more out of LearningExpress Library when assisting patrons. She will review key platform features including our robust practice tests, educational eBooks, interactive tutorials, and career resources. Next, Lisa Dennis will cover DIY Resources for Public Library Patrons. From Home Improvement to Hobbies & Crafts and Small Engine Reference Centers, your patrons will have step-by-step repair instructions and craft ideas at their fingertips. Want “how-to” instruction on legal or small business issues? Look no further than Legal Information and Small Business Reference Centers! And finally, librarians will tour Explora, the graphical interface for not only your adult patrons, but for the young researcher as well!
