2023 Letters About Literature Cash Prizes for Librarians and Students

In 2023, thanks to the generosity of the Nora Roberts Foundation and the Texas Library and Archives Foundation, participants of the 2022-2023 contest are eligible for enhanced cash prizes. Each winner’s school library will receive a $200 stipend! View the details for cash prizes for students and libraries.

As always, there are three categories for contestants:

Level 1 - Grades 4 - 6   
Level 2 - Grades 7 - 8
Level 3 - Grades 9 - 12

Winners in all three categories will win a stipend.

1st place = $300   
2nd place = $200

3rd place = $100

First place winners will be honored at the 2023 Texas Library Association and will receive travel assistance.

 Submissions open from November 4, 2022, until December 17, 2022.
