2024 State Agency Records Management Officers Annual Meeting. April 18, 2024. 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Barbara Jordan Building.
SLRM looks forward to updating state agency records management officers and staff on the year’s events and what’s to come.

•    When: Thursday, April 18, 1:30 – 4:00 p.m.
•    Where: In person at Barbara Jordan Building, Room 2.034 (1601 Congress Ave, Austin, Texas  78701)*
*Universities located outside the Austin area may attend virtually and must have a university email address (ending in .edu). Access information will be sent with final agenda. For any concerns, please contact ckelso@tsl.texas.gov. 

This meeting is a great opportunity to share with records liaisons or other records management staff in your organization. Registration is limited to employees of Texas state agencies and state universities. Register is limited to no more than three (3) attendees per agency or university. 
While the event is no cost, advanced registration is required. Please register by end of business day, Monday, April 15.

The meeting format will include updates from TSLAC and Q&A before moving into breakout discussions. Potential topics include:
-    State records center building update
-    State Archives administrative rule changes and guidance
-    Gimmal (Texlinx) modernization
-    ODP access to state retention schedules – RRS and URRS
-    State schedule review resources
-    RMO/DMO guidance update

Due to room capacity limits, we ask each state agency register no more than three (3) employees. If registration interest exceeds capacity, we may need to limit the number of attendees from each organization so the maximum number of Texas public sector entities may participate. In that event, we will contact organizations to ask they prioritize who attends.
