Request Governor George W. Bush's Records

Governor George W. Bush’s records are located at the newly built George W. Bush Presidential Library at Southern Methodist University in Dallas.

These records remain the property of the State of Texas, the responsibility of the Texas State Library and Archives Commission, and subject to the Texas Public Information Act. Certain records will require review and redaction or removal by archivists of the Commission prior to use by researchers.

Public Information requests must be submitted directly to the Texas State Library and Archives Commission, not the George W. Bush Library.
