Description:
The area covered extends along the coast and through the central part of Texas, from the Guadalupe to the Sabine River. The northern most river is probably the Red River. Shows rivers, towns, and roads, including the Old San Antonio Road. The colored area represents part of Austin's and William's grant and Austin's colony. This map is in Spanish. This is a tracing done by Elizabeth Howard West in 1912. This map is very similar to maps 70j and 70k. The original map is in the Secretaria de Formento, Colonizacion, e Industria, Mexico City, Mexico, Colonizacion y Terrenos Baldios. 4/19/82
