Description:
The area covered is bounded by Galveston Bay, the Sabine River, the Brazos River, and by the northern boundaries of Texas. The map shows rivers, towns, Indians, the Old San Antonio Road, and an area for colonization is outlined which covers part of the Whelin grants and Austin's colony. This map is in Spanish. This is a tracing done by Elizabeth Howard West in 1912. This map is very similar to map 70i.
The original map is in the Secretaria de Formento, Colonizacion, e Industria, Mexico City, Mexico, Colonizacion y Terrenos Baldios.
