            In the course of our
War I have lost almost every Article
necessary to Comfortable Subsistence[.] I do
not own a blanket in the world and
am equally destitute of other indispensables[.]

            You will please as a special favor
to procure for me the following articles[.]
Also forward them to me by the first
good opportunity.

1 pr best 10/4 french mackinac dotto
2 “ french 4 point blankets
2 “            3 ditto          d[itt]o
2 “            2 1/2  ditto    do
2 good qual c Green Blankets
1 doz best Canvassed Hams

5 lbs Sal Eratus
1 doz bottles Lemon Syrup
1  “ best Port wine
