Bill Clements

As a former high school football player and oil field roughneck, Governor Clements was aware of the health value of physical exercise. During his first term he played tennis from time to time as the hectic pace of the Governor's office permitted. He is undoubtedly playing somewhere in Austin, but the exact location of the game and the name of his opponent are not known.
