Lynchburg Oct 21st./90 [1890]

Mr. McArdle

Dear Sir

Lynchburg is about North

East from Habermehls house.

It is about 3 1/2 miles from

the Battleground to the Road

from Harrisburg to N Washing-

ton & from Battleground to

N Washington 9 miles.

I do not think that the

Camps are less than a mile

short. I think the Bayou

from the Lake should aim South

East[.] [I]t seems to me that

you have it ____ [?] too

much westward. It

seems to me that you have

the Zavala plan around [?]

the Bayou to[o] much to the West of

the Grave Yard and Sam

Houstons Camp when it
