certain to matriculate 600 stu-
dents June next. Consolidation has
been as yet been [sic] of no practical
advantage to us. We have not
received a single dollar from the
old endowment at Independence
and not five students that we
would not have gotten without
Consolidation. I hope the
schools at Independence are
doing well. Prof. Cohen's
Art Class is doing finely.

be of any aid to you in your
great historic picture.
