TexShare Databases Program: Contract Information SFY 2026
Program Updates 2026–2027
Please see below for resource information for the term beginning June 1, 2026 and ending May 31, 2027. (Resources marked with an asterisk * are perpetual access resources owned by TSLAC, and contract term dates reflect hosting coverage for these resources. The contract term dates for some of these resources differ from the contract periods for subscription resources, as indicated in the table below.)
Note: In May 2025, TSLAC notified participants of planned TexShare Databases program changes in response to uncertainty regarding federal funding availability. These changes included a renegotiated package of Gale e-resources that included Gale Presents: Peterson's Test and Career Prep and the elimination of other resources to take effect September 1.
In August 2025, TSLAC announced the cancellation of these program changes as anticipated federal funding was confirmed. As a result, the list of Gale e-resources available to program participants, as reflected in the table below, is unchanged from the previous vendor contract term. As a result, Gale Presents: Peterson's Test and Career Prep was not added to the suite of available TexShare e-resources. Please contact TexShare staff at TexShare@tsl.texas.gov with any questions you may have.
