Eligible Dallas Public Library patrons may request a TexShare card for use at participating TexShare libraries, so long as their account is in good standing without fees owed. Patrons are to return materials to the lending library by the due date and are responsible for any late, lost, or damaged materials.

Visiting TexShare card holders may apply for Dallas Public Library borrowing privileges with proof of identity and address verification and a valid TexShare card from their home library. Visitors must also provide either telephone or email contact information. Visitors are to return materials to any Dallas Public Library location by the due date and are responsible for any lost or damaged materials.

Visiting TexShare cardholders are not able to check out laptops or hotspots and do not have access to eContent or databases. The checkout limit is 5 items per card.

Account must be in good standing for all borrower services (check-out, renewal, etc.)
