Applicants must be 18 years of age and members in good standing at the Wilson County Public Library for a period of 6 months prior to applying for a TexShare card. Applicants must apply in person at the Circulation Desk by presenting a valid WCPL library card, a Texas photo I.D. card or Texas Driver's License with current address, or additional proof of current address. TexShare cards will be limited to one card per family.

TexShare cards are issued for a period of 1 year and must be renewed annually in person.

TexShare card holders are allowed to borrow up to five items at a time with only one renewal period. Normal circulation time for books and audio books is 2 weeks; normal circulation time for DVDs, CDs, and VHS tapes is 2 weeks. Borrowing and computer privileges will be denied if customers have accrued fines that exceed $5.00. TexShare cards are issued for a period of 1 year and must be renewed annually in person. Only accounts in good standing will be renewed. Visiting TexShare borrowers will be issued a WCPL library card with limited privileges for one year, providing that they present a valid TexShare card issued by their home library and acceptable proof of identification as defined under eligibility. Reference materials, current periodicals and special collections do not circulate.
