Obtaining a TexShare Card:
TexShare borrowers may apply for privileges at any Amarillo Public Library location.
Using a TexShare Card:
Borrowing privileges extend throughout the Amarillo Public Libraries hours of operation.
Loan Policies:
Length of loans is the same for TexShare borrowers as it is for Amarillo Public Library patrons. TexShare borrowers are limited to 4 items per checkout, with a maximum of 2 DVDs per transaction. Texshare borrowers may not check out mobile hotspots, culture passes, Amarillo Little Theater tickets, Ready-to-Read backpacks, or seed packets. TexShare borrowers may check out ebooks and downloadable audio titles through 3M Cloud Library but are subject to the same item limits as regular borrowers. Non-Circulating items include Reference materials, local history collections, genealogy collections. TexShare borrowers are not granted access to online databases subscribed to by the Amarillo Public Library.
