I, Henry H. Williams of the city of
Baltimore do Solemnly Swear, that the
Books of the House of H.H. Williams
of Baltimore, shew, that on the 8th February
1840 there was paid to Mr. Wall of
Baltimore for account of John G. Tod, a
Sum of Money for the purchase of the
Services of a Negro Man named Perry Marshal[.]
The the [sic] sum so paid was charged in the
account of Said Tod and by him paid
to Said firm of H.H. Williams[.]
